Welcome to "Notes From the Neilson Home", brought to you by yours truly, Olivia!
I am starting this blog with the intent to journal more about the happenings of our lives and hopefully better document our growing family. I truly cherish the blog my mother kept from my early childhood and hope to update this blog often enough to have our family's daily doings not forgotten.
Where we are all at now:
Cameron
Currently finishing up his sixth trimester at Palmer College of Chiropractic. He is killing it at school and is working hard to be able to someday provide for our family! He is in to playing disc golf with his friends, eating at Smash Pizza as much as often, watching college football, and being the best Dad to Boyd.
Boyd
2 years old and thriving! He is starting to talk more and more everyday and we are absolutely obsessed (and quickly realizing we need to watch what we say around him!). His current favorite activities include, but are not limited to: playing in water, building magnetiles, playing with trains/cars, reading books, eating snacks, watching Monsters Inc/Cars/Boss Baby/Wall-e/Sing 2/Spiderman, playing with his Dad and Mom. He is pure joy!
Olivia
I am doing my best to survive pregnancy with a toddler! I am about halfway through this pregnancy and am due with our second boy in February 2026. I spend most of my time taking care of Boyd, doing crafts, and running errands. Nothing too exciting, but I enjoy it all!
Here's to hoping I actually remember to write down stories and post to this blog!
